History Channel's documentary Nostradamus 2012 includes explanations of the prophecies and predictions of Nostradamus. Authors and experts are interviewed about Nostradamus’ predictions, quatrains, and the possible cataclysmic events and disasters coming in the year 2012.
The seven drawings in the Lost Book of Nostradamus are explained and interpreted by experts and authors throughout the documentary, as well as the quatrains. Quatrains are four-line poems that Michel de Nostradamus used when writing his famous predictions for the future.

- Gregg Braden is the author of the Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles and Belief. Braden's latest book is Fractal Time. Braden is the author of several other books and DVD's. In the the History Channel's documentary, Nostradamus 2012, Gregg Braden calls for a "spiritually-based science," and quotes a Harvard Biologist's view of “living in a bottleneck of time when our resources and our ability to solve our problems will be pushed to the limits.” Braden also mentions the peak in solar activity and its role in the year 2012.
- John L. Peterson is the author of Vision for 2012. In the bonus footage of the Nostradamus 2012 DVD, Peterson asserts, "in no case is this transition going to be okay for everyone."
- Vincent Bridges is the co-author of Monument to the End of Time. Bridges is a Shamanic Therapist and Historian. His explanations of the quatrains of Nostradamus in the movie elucidate the mysteries of this famous astrologer's prophecies.
- Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok is the author of Walking Into the Fire. Rabbi is well-traveled, and well-rounded in philosophical, psychological, and theological educations. Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok admonishes humans to choose to evolve and act as humans, not as animals. He also stresses the message of hope based on the fact that humans have Free Will. Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok explains that to evolve fully into humanity, “first we have to face the greatest enemy which is within ourselves,” and also warns, “it’s going to get darker before the dawn.”
- Lawrence Joseph is the author of Apocalypse 2012. Larry Joseph speaks of the possibility of a period of violent sun activity and solar flares in the year 2012.
- John Major Jenkins is the author of Maya Cosmogenesis 2012: The True Meaning of the Maya Calendar End Date. Mr. Jenkins helps the audience of Nostradamus 2012 understand the Mayans’ obsession with the heavens.
- Joseph Jochmans, Lit. D., Maya Scholar explains in the documentary Nostradamus 2012 that the ancients were completely in touch with the oneness of themselves, nature, and the cosmos.
